Accommodation features: The Regent Chiang Mai Resort & Spa offers 64 Pavilion Suites and 16 Residence Suites, all equipped with bathroom, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephon, TV, radio, CD player, minibar and safe. - The 64 Pavilion Suites, with a size about 70 squaremeters, are decorated in Lanna-style, the style of North Thailand, with rich Thai materials and fabrics, overlook gardens, terraced rice paddies and mountain views. They offer coffee and tea making facilities, separate dressing room, oversized bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and private veranda.
- The 16 palatial Residence Suites, with a size between 350 to 545 squaremeters, offer one, two or three bedrooms, separate lounge, dining area, kitchen, large bathroom, separate shower, plunge pool and a personal Mae Baan (private housekeeper).
Dining: The Regent Chiang Mai Resort & Spa offers following dining options: - The resort's Thai restaurant Sala Mae Rim in Thai cuisine including both Northern and Vegetarian specialties. Indoor and outdoor seating is available to take in the sweeping view of the Mae Rim Valley and gentle northern breezes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices.
- The Elephant Bar, a casually elegantpavilion style lounge, serving afternoon tea, cocktails and after-dinner drinks. It is the perfect place to relax after an active day of sightseeing and elephant trekking. The Elephant Bar offers unrivalled views across the Mae Rim Valley towards a brilliant Thai sunset.
- The Pool Terrace and Bar isfor lunch and dinner in addition to a weekly seasonal barbecue dinner by the pool-side. The menu features casual light snacks and a variety of light Thai-style dishes are also available.
Sports and Wellness: A fully equipped fitness and exercise studio is available for the health enthusiast. The Tennis and Health Club is managed by Peter Burwash International (PBI). Facilities include two floodlit Wimbledon grass tennis courts, available on a complimentary basis. In addition, the Tennis and Health Club offers guests introductory sessions in meditation and yoga, and a children's club complete with board games, toys, videos and supervised activities. The Regent Chiang Mai Resort & Spa also offers guests the complimentary use of two saunas, Thai herbal steam rooms and an outdoor heated whirlpool, which is adjacent to the 20 metre infinity edge swimming pool from where they can view the Mae Rim valley across picturesque rice terraces. Mountain bikes for adults and children are also available on a complimentary basis.
The Lanna Spa is housed in a magnificent three storey building (900 square metres or 9,000 square feet) set in lush tropical vegetation. Its seven treatment suites are elegant and exceedingly spacious, offering total privacy for individuals or couples, a variety of features include outdoor showers, private herbal steam rooms , romantic outdoor soaking tubs and tropical rain shower massage tables. There is also a separate beauty salon within the Spa.
Four world class golf courses are located within close proximity to the resort. Prime tee times can be arranged by the resort's Concierge.
Meetings and Banquets: The Regent Chiang Mai Resort & Spa offers the perfect surroundings for small 'think tank' sessions, executive conferences and incentive events. The Intanin Pavilion seats eighty while the Kasalong Pavilion seats 20 for meetings and banquets. Additional areas for breakout facilities can also be arranged.
