The Peninsula Hong Kong is located on Victoria Harbour, at the junction of Salisbury and Nathan Roads, the shopping mecca of Kowloon and in the very heart of Kowloon's business and entertainment district, close to Hong Kong's underground railway system (MTR), the historic Star Ferry, China Ferry Terminal and Kowloon Canton Railway Station. The Peninsula is directly opposite the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Space Museum.
The Peninsula Hong Kong, "The Grand Old Lady," is one of the most historical hotel in Hong Kong having firstd in 1928. Extensive renovation and the addition of the tower in 1994 have also made it one of Hong Kong's most classic hotel.

- Felix is the creation of the world-famous avant-garde designer, Philippe Starck. Other features include a Wine Bar, The Balcony, American Bar and The Crazy Box, a small discotheque. Located on the 28th floor of The Peninsula Tower.
- In 1998, Spring Moon, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was transformed into a replica of how the restaurant might have looked in 1928, the year The Peninsulad. Stained glass, wood paneling and flooring, art deco features and Frank Lloyd-Wright highlights are combined to give a period feel to the restaurant, while unique touches such as a tea counter with over 25 selected Chinese teas and professionally-trained tea masters in attendance, add to the dining experience. - Small and intimate, the chalet-style timbered restaurant Chesa is a haven for lovers of raclette and fondue. A gourmet menu features many authentic Swiss cantonal specialties, together with a list of Swiss wines. Three-course set lunches are served daily. Chesa is located on the 1st floor.
- Arched sea-facing windows and wooden ceiling fans establish The Verandah as a contemporary, yet classic day and night-time eatery. Set lunches and a colorful dinner buffet, with Mediterranean flair, are available daily.
- The Lobby is a relaxed all day dining venue and one of Hong Kong's premier meeting places. Famous for its Afternoon High Tea with accompanying lobby strings and in the evening, the lobby pianist.
- Fluted columns and an intimate atmosphere make The Bar, located on the first floor, an ideal setting for a drink or a cocktail with friends or colleagues.
