Pangkor Laut is a private owned island with an unspoiled and idyllic nature three milles off the western coast of the Peninsula of Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca and it is located 250 miles north of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Pangkor Laut is small and stunningly beautiful island surrounded with palm-fringed beaches and the lush greenery of an unspoiled rainforest.
The luxurious Resort Pangkor Laut is the only resort on the island of Pangkor Laut with 300 acres of botanical wonderland. The rich culture of Malaysia is reflected in the design and architecture of the 148 villas over the water, on the beach or on the hillsides with beautiful views of the sea below resembling a Malay village. Guestrooms & Suites : The Hotel and Resort Pangkor Laut offers 148 luxury villas inclusive og three suites, located in the main resort complex, and eight beautiful Estates, located in a nearby secluded cove. All villas, suites and Estates are elegantly and luxuriously decorated.
The main resort complex offers five different villa categories and three suites, all decorated with Malaysian style and luxurious fabrics and offer private balconies or courtyards with deck chairs. The villas and suites are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, cable and satellite TV, writing desk, direct dial telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar, electronic safe and bathroom with separate shower and hairdryer.
- The Royal Bay Garden Villas are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds on request. These villas housed in two-storey units and they are located amidst the lush green tropical garden of the Pangkor Laut Resort. The villas on the ground floor offers a large bathtub in the private courtyard and the bathrooms of the villa on the first floor offer beautiful views of the rainforest.
The Family Plan Villas are two villas on the ground floor connected from the inside.
- The Royal Bay Hill Villas are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds on request. These villas housed in two-storey units and they are dramatically located amidst the lush green rainforest on the hillside with stunning views of the lush tropical gardens of the resort and the sea. The villas on the ground floor offers a large bathtub in the private courtyard and the bathrooms of the villa on the first floor offer beautiful views of the rainforest.
- The Royal Bay Beach Villas are equipped with one king-size bed and they are situated next to the golden sandy beach with stunning views of the sea. These villas offer a private balcony, furnished with deck chairs, a spacious bathroom with separate shower and private outdoor courtyard with huge bathtub.
- The Royal Bay Sea Villas, equipped with one king-size bed, are built on stilts over the sea and they are linked by wooden walkways. These unique and spacious villas offer breaktaking views of the sea and the surrounding island and they are equipped with a balcony, furnished with deck chairs, and a bathroom with huge bathtub surrounded by panoramic windows with private views. Please note: No Children allowed in these villas.
- The Spa Villas are private bungalows and built on stilts over the sea with direct access to the "Spa Village". The spacious and unique villas offer breathtaking views of the Pangkor Straits and they are equipped with a spacious balcony, furnished with deck chairs and a large bathroom with separate shower.
- The two Royal Bay Suites, the Suria Suite and the Purnama Suite, are built an stilts over the sea with stunning views of the island and the sea and they consist of an entrance foyer, an elegant lounge and a separate bedroom. The spacious bathroom is equipped with a huge bathtub with magnificent view of the sea and a separate shower stall.
- The Pavarotti Suite is named after Luciano Pavarotti, the world-famous tenor, who love Pangkor Laut. This elegant suite is situated in the lush tropical rainforest high on the hill and consists of one bedroom, a luxurious and spacious lounge area, a large balcony with stunning views of the lush green rainforest and the sea, and an enormous and elegantly equippedroofed bathroom.
This suite can be connected with two adjacent Royal Bay Hill Villas.
The Pangkor Laut Resort also offers eight Estates, located away from the main resort on a secluded bay. The architecture of these Estates reflect South East Asian residence of a bygone era and each Estate housed in a collection of special pavilions amidst a magnificent landscaped garden and offer luxurious comfort and elegance. Cuisine & Cocktails : The Pangkor Laut Resort offers a wide selection of culinary delights from authentic Malay to traditional Chinese cuisine.
- The Restaurant Samudra is built on stilts over the ocean and serves international dishes and traditional Malay specialities with stunning views of the bay and live Gamelan music.
- Theair Palm Grove Cafe is located near the Frog Pool serves the extensive breakfast buffet.
- The Uncle Lim's is named after its Chef and it is a beautifully decorated restaurant atop of a rocky outcrop with stunning view of the sea. This restaurant serves excellent international and Asian dishes reflecting the tradition and culture of Malaysia.
- The Royal Bay Beach Club is located next to the lap pool and the sundecks with stunning views of the sea and offers tasty snacks and light lunches and a large selection of refreshing beverages. Exceleent West meets East a la carte menus are serves for dinner.

- The Sunset Dinner at Sea is the ideal place for a romantic evening on the hotel-own teak wood boat in Tongkang style with a four course dinner and breathtaking view of the sun set at Emerald Bay.
- The Fisherman's Cove is located in the Spa Village and offers Italian dishes, Western grill specialities, Chinese cuisine and excellent fresh seafood, prepared in anshow citchen with magnificent view of the sea.

Leisure & Wellness : The Pangkor Beach Resort offers the new Spa Village with several low pavilions, indoor and outdoor spaces and is located in four acres on a quiet bay between the tropical rainforest and the sea. The Spa Village offerscourtyards, lotus ponds, three Thai Pavilions, two Bath Houses, a Herbal Garden, three Nap Gazebos, a fifty metre lap pool, the Spa Boutique, a Library, the Jamu Bar and the Restaurant Fisherman's Cove. The twenty-four new Spa Villas are located over the sea and they offer a direct access to the exquisite Spa Village.
The Pangkor Laut Resort boasts also many other activities for the guests. The wonderful Emerald Bay with matnificent beaches is only minutes away and many waterspoarts like waterskiing, sail-boarding, catamaran and kayaking are available.
