Overlooking one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe, the Hotel Montecastillo is more a palace than a hotel and perfectly blends with the undulating landscape of Andalusia.d in 1992 the Montecastillo Hotel & Golf Resort is situated just outside of the picturesque Andalusian of Jerez de la Frontera, world renowned for its sherries and brandies, dance show of the Royal School of Equestrian Art and next to the Formula 1 Grand Prix track.
The Montecastillo Hotel overlooks the 18th hole of the Montecastillo golf course, which is designed by Jack Nicklaus and host to the Volvo Masters. This course is voted as one of the 50 best golf courses in Europe. This course is voted as one of the 50 best golf courses in Europe.
The renown five star luxurious Montecastillo Hotel offers all facilities you may expect from a fine setting like The Montecastillo Resort. The hotel has been beautifully decorated, reflecting both modern and classical Andalucia.

Guestrooms & Suites : Montecastillo Hotel and Golf Resort offer 121 luxurious rooms and suites and 20 villas.
The 121 rooms and suites are tastefully decorated in traditional Andalusian style, with an air of elegance and simplicity, to blend in with the surrounding environments. All rooms and suites are equipped with WC and bath/shower, bathrobe, hairdryer, toiletry, air-conditioning, direct dial telephone , satellite TV and minibar. Most have a balcony or terrace.

• The single room offers a queen bed, view of the golf course, full bath. Terrace on request available.
• The double room are equipped with queen or twin beds, balcony or terrace, golf or main entrance view and full bath.
• Special room with queen or twin beds, sitting area and a private terrace or balcony, golf view and full bath are available.
• The junior suite are equipped with queen or twin beds, sitting area, a private terrace or balcony, full bath and golf course or main entrance view.
• The suite on third floor offers two bedrooms and a salon in the middle. Bedrooms have queen or twin beds, and large en-suite bathroom, Jacuzzi, dressing area and a large and private terrace. KIndly note: The 2 Bedroom Suite is on request only.

Adjacent to the hotel are twenty villas with a total of 32 rooms on two floors, fully integrated into the natural surroundings of the area. All the villas overlook the 18th fairway of the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. The villas are equipped with lounge/dining room, kitchenette with refrigerator, satellite TV, air-conditioning and hairdreyer.
The guests in Las Villas enjoy all the services of the hotel including the swimming pools, spa, gymnasium, steam & dry saunas, jacuzzi and paddle-tennis courts as well as privileged tee-off times.

• the Duplex Villas with living/dining area and kitchenette on the ground floor and a bedroom with bathroom on the first floor and
• the Presidential Villa, which consists of a large living and dining area with kitchen on the ground floor, a bedroom with bathroom on the first and the master bedroom with bathroom and terrace on the second floor.

Cuisine & Cocktails : The hotel's own "El Lagar" restaurant offers the very best in traditional Andalusian cuisine as well as a choice of international dishes. Only fresh local produce is used and specially selected daily. An exclusive selection of quality local and Spanish wines are included in our wine list.
For more informal dining, the Castillo Bar with a typical Andalusian ambiance, offers a range of delicious local "tapas", as well as an additional restaurant.

Leisure & Wellness : The 18-hole championship golf course is designed by Jack Nicklaus, who describes it as one of his best. It is a test of golf for the most accomplished players but is equally enjoyable to all golfers. With over 3000 hours of sunshine per year, the Hotel Montecastillo is becoming a favourite place to play golf. The course is situated in approx. 395 acres, with a typical Andalusian landscape for the golfer to enjoy a scenic round of golf.
Montecastillo has one full size tennis court, with artificial turf for all year round use and a multipurpose court. Paddle Tennis has become a very popular sport in Spain. Montecastillo has 4 paddle tennis courts and a paddle tennis school, available to all guests.
The two professional Football Pitches at Montecastillo and training areas, constructed in consultation with Manchester Utd, are becoming renowned as the finest in Europe.
The new Health & Fitness Centre at Montecastillo, provides everything one would expect from a five star hotel with a luxurious indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, solarium, dry and steam saunas, gymnasium and massage areas and a cafebar. Montecastillo offers also two outdoor swimmimg pools.
Bicycles, clay pigeon shooting, horseback riding, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, falconry and off-road driving nearby.

Meetings & Banquets : Next to the hotel is the magnificent Castle, built in the early 1900's. It accommodates the Conference Centre for all kinds of business meetings, incentives and conventions. As conference hotel Montecastillo offers a total of 14 fully equipped meeting rooms hosting from 12 to 300 delegates.
