Just outside the small town of Santa Maria and right in the heart of the most beautiful countryside, you will find Read´s Hotel, a genuine luxury hotel. This charming hotel is surrounded by 20,000 squaremeters of landscaped garden in a quiet, retired countryside. The Read´s is the perfect combination of fantasy and the ultimate in luxury. With its collection of antique furniture and fantasy murals, it offers the elegance of a refined property coupled with an invitation to savour a truly special cuisine.

Guestrooms & Suites : The Read's Hotel offers 25 guestrooms and suites. All rooms and suites are individually designed and boast bath, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, heating and air conditioning, satellite television and direct dial telephone. The rooms do not have mini bars, but Read's Hotel offers a 24-hour room service.

• The Deluxe Double Rooms without terrace have a size about 40 squaremeters. These rooms are all situated on the upper floor of the main house which means they all have stunning views across the gardens and to the Tramuntana mountains.
• The Deluxe Double Rooms with terrace are exactly the same as the ones without terrace but are located on the ground floor with own terraces.
• The Suites have a size between 55 and 60 squaremeters and they have a lounge and private terrace. They are very spacious and very beautiful.
• The Princess Suite offers panoramic views of the Tramuntana Mountains. Modern in decoration this room has been transformed from two large Double Rooms into a very beautiful Suite. Facilities include Jacuzzi bath with separate shower, NAD CD system in the lounge with speakers connected in the bathroom.
• To enter the King Suite is quite simply to enter a hotel suite the like of which you have never seen before. The rich colours and textures and exquisite furnishings combine together to create something truly magical. The floor to ceiling windowsout to the gardens, vineyard and mountains beyond. Beautiful pieces from Julian Chichester, one of the UK´s top designers, furnish both the lounge and bedroom. The grand bathroom has a full sized Jacuzzi, walk in power shower, double wash hand basins with marble surround and separate toilet and bidet. From the terrace enjoy views over the wonderful landscaped gardens, vineyard and Tramuntana Mountains.

Cuisine & Cocktails : The heart of any luxury hotel must be its kitchen, and Read's Hotel under the guidance of Marc Fosh from the first day, has recently been awarded it´s first Michelin Star.

• The Read's Restaurant is one of the finest restaurant in Spain and serves excellent specialities and wine. The restaurant, with its arches soaring 30 feet and its walls decorated with the most wonderful frescoes in the style of the 17th and 18th century Italian Masters, completes a unique dining experience.
• During the summer you can dine "al fresco" on one of the three Terraces both at lunchtimes and evenings. Once a week Chef prepares a traditional Paella in the garden on anbarbecue.
• The Bar isall day, 7 days a week where you can enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea with cakes and of course a full bar service including Read´s Smoothies and Cocktails.

Leisure & Wellness : The 100 squaremeters heated indoor pool is set in a stunning building built in the exact style of the original house, using the same materials. Through the glass arches you can look out to the gardens, the 200 squaremeters outdoor pool and mountains beyond.The indoor pool building also houses a 6 person Jacuzzi, Klafs Sauna, small cardio-vascular gymnasium and fast tan sun bed. Set in the 20,000 squaremeters of gardens we have a tennis court. Rackets and balls are available for the guests.
Read´s Hotel is set at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountain range. There are many different walks in the area of varying different levels. This is a wonderful way to spend a day or even an afternoon wandering through quiet country lanes or even hiking through the mountains (it doesn´t have to be too strenuous!).
From Read´s there are 6 golf courses within a 30 minute drive and even more slightly further afield.

Meetings & Banquets : Read's Hotel offers several meeting rooms with latest conference technology and the hotel is the ideal location for small meetings or conferences.

• The Blue Room is one of the three private salons on the ground floor of the main house. It has a maximum capacity for 12 persons for a private lunch, dinner or meeting.
• The Olive Press Room is ideally for private lunches, dinners or conferences for up to 22 people.

Other Facilites : Business centre and sectrtarial service. Air conditioning. Safe. 24.hour room service. Car park. Children 14 years and older are welcome. Pets are not allowed.
