Guestrooms & Suites : Every accommodation at Hotel Villa San Michele is designed to satisfy all the wishes of Villa San Michele's guests, whether they prefer the historical ambience of the main building or the more contemporary surroundings. The Tuscan pietraserena and cotto, which are characteristic of all historic buildings in Florence, abound throughout the Villa San Michele Hotel, giving it a warm and welcoming ambience of peacefulness and comfort.
The hotel offers 21 double rooms -Classic Guestrooms and Deluxe Guestrooms- , 20 Junior Suites -with with private terrace or with private garden- and four suites -2 »Limonaia Suites« and the »Michelangelo« and the »Donatello« Suite, distributed in the main building and above or below the Italian Garden, on different levels, with some rooms and suites interconnecting. The 'Limonaia', built in 1752 as an »Orangerie« for the convent, is situated slightly off the Italian Garden, whilst the »Chapel« housing one more deluxe guestroom perfect for honeymooners stands in panoramic isolation on the border of the wooded park.
All furniture is custom made in cherry or walnut wood, and Curtains, lamps, frames and most decorative items have been produced by skilled artisans in respect of the elegant and sober ambience which is so characteristical of the Villa San Michele Hotel .
Each room features touch control air conditioning and heating, video players (a wide selection of Oscar movies are available at the Concierge), sat-TV with 16 channels, while most also have dedicated receiving and transmitting fax/modem facilities and a minimum of three phones. Lighting has been given special attention and dimmers are installed throughout the hotel.
Bathrooms are mostly spacious and feature armoiresto sight with in-room safe, umbrella and solid walnut coat hangers. Most have separate shower and toilet, large bathtubs, double vanities, well-lit mirrors and all have a magnifying mirror for shaving and make-up. Carrara marble of different tonalities and polished walnut are largely used in bathrooms while bedrooms are rich with cotto tiles, pietraserena and solid walnut.
Cuisine & Cocktails : Superb Italian regional and Tuscan cuisine awaits you at the gourmet restaurant of the Villa San Michele hotel, complimented by the finest vintages from Tuscany, Italy and all over the world! Guests can dine in the elegant Cenacolo Restaurant or -wheather permitting- alfresco in the more informal setting of the splendid Loggia Restaurant. Both feature the very finest in Tuscan and regional Italian specialities.
The Terrace Bar is very much in demand as rendezvous and in the ancient refectory of the monastery, there is a cocktail bar, dominated by stunning antique frescoes. The Terrace and the park can also provide a memorable backdrop to receptions, parties or banquets for up to 150 participants.

Meetings & Banquets : The »Last Supper Room« and Restaurant are available for meetings and conferences. Villa San Michele being also a conference hotel with state-of-the-art conference technology for seminars, business and social events, receptions, gala dinner and banquets. The Cenacolo Room is suitable for hosting banquets or a wedding party for a maximum of 45 guests, seating six to eight people at each table, and is suitable for meetings and seminars theatre style for a maximum of 45 guests, classroom style up to 25 and a U-shape table for a maximum of 20.
The Terrace (Loggia) can also provide a memorable backdrop to banquets and weddings at lunch time for a maximum of 60 guests, with tables seating six to eight people.
The Italian Garden is suitable for hosting a cocktail party for a maximum of 80 guests.
The Ancient Restaurant can seat a maximum of 55 guests for lunch or dinner, seating six to eight people at each table.
