On the banks of the Lago Maggiore, the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées, located inside a vast park, commands a superb position in Stresa, directly facing the Borromeo Islands with the verdant jewel of the Isola Bella. Cuisine & Cocktails : The exquisite Restaurant "Il Borromeo" serves finest Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with fish and local specialities such as risotto. During the summer, lunch and dinner are served on the outside terrace. Formal dresses suggested in the evening. In the wonderful atmosphere of the Lobby and the Piano Bar every moment is right for a drink, an aperitf or a hot drink.
