The five-star deluxe Regina Hotel Baglioni is situated in the Via Veneto in an elegant and perfect art nouveau style building dating back to the beginning of the last century. It is a stone's throw the Piazza Barberi, the Piazza di Spagna and the Piazza Navona. The Regina Hotel Baglioni was built in the year 1904 and takes its name from Queen Margherita of Savoy (the Italian for "queen" is "regina"). The queen, in fact, stayed in this splendid art nouveau building until work was completed on the Palazzo Margherita, her Roman residence, which is across the from the hotel. Today the Queen's palace, which was situated directly opposite, is now the American Embassy. So impressed was she by this fine hotel, that she sanctioned the Royal title by which it is presently known - Regina Hotel Baglioni. The Building, with its precious moulded stucci and turn-of-the-century bronze and marble staircase, was chosen by Gabriele D'Annunzio as the meeting place of his cultural club (even though he had his own Roman residence).
But fortunately, the hotel has changed little. Guests may still enjoy the exceptional levels of service, the fine grandeur of the decor and the sumptuous dining that delighted her Majesty back in the 1930's.
Accommodation features:The hotel's 130 rooms, including four junior suites and seven suites and a Predidential suite, benefit from recent renovation, all carefully restored using rich woods and refurbihed in classical style. Some of the suites are with private terraces and those on the 7th floor enjoy fantastic views of Rome. All rooms are superior or executive and non-smoking rooms are available.
All guestrooms, junior suites and suites are equipped with bath/shower and WC, bathrobe, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, minibar and in-room safe.
Dining: The Restaurant "Le Grazie" constists of three rooms: the Sala Centrale, the Veranda Liguria and the Veranda Regina. Each cosy room has been completely renovated with particular attention to details in accordance with the art nouveau style of the building. The restaurant serves excellent Mediterranean and international cuisine in a magnificent and elegant ambience.
Sports and Wellness: Fitness and sporting facilities are available nearby. Jogging and biking in the nearby Gardens of the Villa Borghese. 18-hole golf course 30 minutes from the hotel.
Meetings and Banquets: The Regina Hotel Baglioni offers several meeting rooms for conferences, seminars and banquets.

• The Sala Veneto: this room is found on the ground floor of the hotel, between the Salone Ovale and the restaurant. It can also be used for cocktail parties and private banquets. It is furnished with elegant nineteenth century furniture and it is both practical and chic.
• The Sala Margherita: this room is found in the new basement area, which can be reached by lift or by taking a beautiful Art Nouveau grand staircase. It is sober, modern and ideal for exclusive conferences and private meetings.
• The Sala Regina: a refined "veranda", lit by natural sunlightand decorated with precious objets d'art.
• The Sala Belvedere: this is an exclusive meetins room for 80 people, with glass structure for a magnificent view over the city.
