Guestrooms & Suites : Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens offers 321 guestrooms and suites on 7 floors, all of them equipped with luxurious en-suite facilities, AC, cable- and sat-TV, dataport, Internet access, iron and ironing board, minibar, safebox and direct dial telephones with voice mail. Maximum occupancy is three guests in all room categories except the Grand Deluxe Suites which are designed to accommodate up to five guests.
- The Standard Rooms (here called »Deluxe Room« come with king-, queen-size or two twin beds and the rooms average size is 27 sqms (290 sqft) and they offer a view of the city or the courtyard. Typical for this room type are the historic features which were meticulously restored during the hotel's renovation. The warm yellow and red colour scheme of the decor reflects elegance and charm.
There are available also interconnected rooms and rooms with balcony.
- The Superior Guestrooms (here called »Premium Deluxe Rooms«) have an average size of 33 sqms (355 sqft), four to five bathroom-fixtures and offer unique views of Parliament and Lykabettos Hill. Guests may choose among king-size bed or two twins. With their special features of the classical furnishing and the warm colours of the deocration these rooms truly epitomise class and sophistication.
- The Deluxe Guestrooms (here called »Grand Deluxe Rooms«) have an average size of 44 sqms (470 sqft) and bedding type will be one king-size or two twin beds. Furnished in a classical style with a yellow colour scheme and antique oil paintings, these rooms reflect the hotel's antique heritage and are a typical example of this previous nobles palace historic character. The exceptional views of Constitution Square, the Acropolis or the Lykabettos Hill provide the finishing touches.
- The Suites (here called »Deluxe Suite«) have an average size of 50 sqms (530 sqft) and offer luxurious bathrooms with four to five fixtures. Graciously decorated in a classical style with a cream and earth tone scheme theese suites are composed of one bedroom and a sitting room. They have been specially designed to be spacious, but offer also the exquisiteness of a private home. Ideally a Deluxe Suite is the perfect Grand Hotel hideaway for a night. …or a week. …or a year.
- The One-Bedroom Deluxe Suites : Indulge your taste for finer things in life with these suites distinguished by their generous space (80 sqms / 860 sqft) and classical style. Decorated in warm earth colours the sleeping quarters in this type of suite with one king-size or two twin beds are completely secluded from the living and working areas and so ensuring privacy during informal meetings or while entertaining. The bathroom offers the ultimate in luxury with its master bath, steam shower and bathroom TV. Most of these suites offer views of Constitution Square or the Acropolis.
- The Two Bedroom Suites (here called »Grand Deluxe Suite«) are two-bedroom corner suites of approximately 90 sqms (960 sqft) with individual five-fixture bathrooms. They offer magnificent views of the Parthenon, as well as the House of Parliament, the changing of guards and the National Gardens. With a large corner living room and luxurious amenities these suites combine the tradition of a noble part with the requirements of the contemporary traveller.
- The beautiful Presidential Suite features a unique designwith its vaulted ceilings and its columns, adding to the charm of this generous (200 sqms / 2100 sqft) luxury suite.
The spacious corner living room is overlooking Akropolis, Parliament and Constitution Square. The oval-shaped ceiling details and panel mouldings are creating a stylish classical touch. The Presidential suite features a spacious dining room for up to 12 guests -also suitable for meetings, a light master bedroom with ist own sitting area with comfortable sofa and chairs and with two-sidedfireplace.
The master bedroom additionally features a bathroom with steam-bath, shower and separate deep soaking tub as well as walk-in closets and its own TV.
- Finally, the Hotel Grande Bretagne's most spectacular suite, which is named Royal Suite, features 400 sqms (4300 sqft) of pure elegance, decorated with antique furniture and original piece d'arts, so creating an unique ambiance of true beauty and comfort. Located at the building's 05th floor, this Royal Suite features panoramic views of Syntagma Square, the Greek Parliament, the famous Parthenon and of Lykabettos Hill as well as of the changing of guards in front of the Unknown Soldier's tomb.
