The Elounda Mare Hotel has been developed on 30,000 squaremeters of gently sloping land with a private coastline of 300 meters. The small fishing village of Elounda is only 2 kilometers away. Built as a Cretan mansion, the Elounda Mare Hotel is a jewel of traditional archtecture with gems of antique furniture and artwork at every corner.
Accomodation features: Guests are accomodated in 82 units. 38 superior rooms and suites in the main hotel and there are 44 bungalows and bungalow suites. All rooms in the main building face the sea and have balcony or terrace and air-conditioning. The bungalows, which face also the sea, have individual air-conditioning units and include a seawater swimming pool that is either private or shared with the neighboring bungalow. Most of the swimming pools are heated during spring and autumn. All rooms and bungalows have marble bathrooms. All rooms, main-building suites and most bungalows have air-bath tubs, as well as separate shower enclosure, direct dial telephone color satellite TV, in-house musik, minibar, safe and hairdreyer. In the bungalows with private pool, guests enjoy a special VIP service.
Dining: The "Deck Restaurant" serves buffet breakfast and a five-course Table d'Hotel dinner. For a la carte meals the "Yacht Club Restaurant" isdaily for lunch as well as certain evenings in the week, alternately with the "Old Mill Restaurant". Gentlemen with jacket in Old Mill Restaurant.
