The Sporthotel Igls is situated at 900 meters altitude - the origin of resinous scents of the forest and summer. Clean air, peace and quiet and a beautiful environment on top of the world - here you find highest comfort, first class service, Austrian hospitality and our Gault-Millau graded restaurant. Also the hiking-trail begins at the Sporthotel and takes you from meadow to meadow passing century old stone pines. The first part you attack with your mountain bike. Then you enjoy the breathtaking view back over the valley from the chairlift. Everywhere you look you see luscious meadows, healthy farmland and in the midst of it all lies Igls with a population of about 1200.
Accommodation features: The Sporthotel Igls offers 75 guestrooms, juniorsuites and suites, all decorated in Austrian style. All guestroom, junior suites and suites are equipped with bath or shower and WC, hairdryer, cable/satellite TV, radio, and direct dial telephone, some of the rooms have balcony.

Winter is grand here with the glorious mountain scenery all blanketed in wide! Naturally, Igls and Environs are a great place for skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing on Patscherkofel Mountain. But why limit your fun? There are 30 kilometers of great remote trails designated for winter walking. Embark for a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the magical winter wonderland. Rush down the Olympic bobsled. Go for a spin on the natural ice skating rink at Lans. Take an exhilarating toboggan ride down from Heiligwasser. Build a snowman. Winter is a great time to visit Igls for a lot of reasons, and the memories will stay with you forever.
Also nearby is the Lake Laner for swimming and sunning and Igls is well known for both tennis and golf. Horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking.
