The five-star deluxe hotel Suvretta House, with its rich past, is an oasis of hospitality nesteld in the mountains of Engadine 1,850 meters above sea level.
The Grandhotel Suvretta House is surrounded by a natural landscape and offers a splendid view over forests and lakes, framed by the mountain peaks. It lies well away from traffic noise and bustle, yet very close to St. Moritz with its shopping and entertainment facilities. It offers its guests everything they desire, in order to relax and be spoiled. The Belle Epoque castle, built in 1912, is situated on a plateau which bears the name Chasselas between St. Moritz and Sils, at an altitude of 1856 meters above sea level, offers a magnificent view over the lakes and mountains of the Upper Engadine. It lies just two kilometres to the west of St. Moritz. The distance from the bustle of the resort, initially something of a worry, turned into a compelling argument in favour of building the hotel.

Accommodation features: The 210 rooms and junior suites are furnished with great flair and attention to detail. Various room categories based on size and aspect can be linked with one another. The spacious junior suites with a view of the Upper Engadine lake area have a luxurious living room as well as a large bathroom with separate shower and double wash basin.

St. Moritz offers 350 km of ski and snowboard slopes, 55 uphill facilities, 180 km of cross-country skiing tracks, 150 km of hiking trails and 150 events every winter. The Corviglia is one of the main ski areas in the Upper Engadine, featuring 95 km of perfectly groomed ski and snowboard slopes , 23 modern uphill facilities and 13 mountain restaurants. It is also the venue for a number of World Cup ski races. At 140km speed bobs and skeleton sleds shoot down the ice canal. Every year in February the world-famous international horse races, White Turf St. Moritz, are held on the frozen over St. Moritz lake. The Polo World Cup on Snow, the oldest team sports event in the world, are held om the frozen over St. Moritz lake. The Engadine Ski Marathon is great fun at one of the world's biggest sports events. 13,000 cross-country skiers compete in this classic 42km marathon from Maloja to St. Moritz.
