The Marcliffe, built in 1852 and remodelled in 1993, is located in 8 acres of wooded grounds and the hotel is ideally positioned for visting Scotland's scenic northeast. Accommodation features : Each of The Marcliffe's 4 suites and 38 bedrooms has been individually designed with elegance. Antique furniture and paintings links with traditional and contemporary styles of fabric to create an atmosphere of comfort and good taste. The suites offer bedroom and sittingroom. All bedrooms are non-smoking rooms. Bathrobes, hairdryer, cable TV, direct dial tlephone, heating, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, iron and ironing board, minibar, fresh fruit, bisquits, newspapers and magazines are standard to all rooms and suites.
Dining : There are 2 restaurants. The chefs specialise in Grampian produce: Aberdeen Angus beef, game, fish, and shellfish from local rivers and port.
