Amanpuri , ("Ort des Friedens"), wurde an der hügeligen Küste Phukets errichtet. Die Insel ist mittels einer Brücke mit der thailändischen Provinz Phang-Nga verbunden und von der Andaman-See umgeben, welche im Süden in den Indischen Ozean übergeht. An edr Westküste Phukets finden Sie den Strand Pansea Beach, von welchem eine Treppe zum Swimmingpool und den Gebäuden des Hotels Amanpuri hinaufführt. Die Gäste wohnen in Pavillions, die in einem Kokospalmenhain verstreut liegen und durch überdachte Bohlenwege mit der Hauptanlage verbunden sind. Zusätzlich gibt es nördlich an das Resort anschließend noch Villen mit zwei bis 6 Schlafzimmern, welche ebenfalls unter der Leitung des Amanpuri stehen und jeweils komplett angemietet werden können.
Die Gästezimmer : Die 40 Pavillions und 30 Villen liegen jede für sich inmitten einer Kokosnußplantage. Amanpuris Pavillions sind je 115 qm groß und verfügen über private Terrassen. Die Preise sind abhängig von Lage und Blick jeden einzelnen Pavillions, so bieten z.B. die Nummern 103 und 105 die besten Ausblicke auf die Andaman-See. Die 3 Deluxe Ocean Pavillions haben wunderschönen Blick auf den Ozean und auch die 4 Superior Ocean Pavilions bieten immerhin noch seitlichen Meerblick. Die 25 Superior Garden pavillions liegen mitten im Palmenhain, während die übrigen 6 Pavillions am Zufahrtsweg des Amanpuri Resorts liegen.
Nördlich an das Resort anschließend befinden sich versteckt in den Palmenwäldern 30 Amanpuri Villen, fast alle direkt an der Küste gelegen. Diese Villen bieten je zwei bis sechs Schlafzimmer und sind alle im Amanpuri-Stil mit typisch thailändischen Möbeln, Kunstwerken und Kunsthandwerk ausgestattet. Jede hat ihren eigenen Pool sowie Thai Salas als Wohn- und Essbereich. Den Gästen jeder Villa stehen ein Zimmermädchen und ein Koch zur Verfügung - auch für die Zubereitung thailändischer Speisen in der voll ausgestatteten Küche. Amanpuri , (place of peace), is built on a coastal hillside on Phuket. The island is connected to Thailand's Phang-Nga province by bridge and is surrounded by the Andaman Sea which joins the Indian Ocean to the south. On Phuket's west coast is Pansea Beach from where a stairway leads up to the resort's main pool and facilities. The resort's guest accommodations of 40 pavilions are interspersed within a coconut plantation connected by elevated walkways with colonnades. Also available for rental and adjoining the resort to the north, are 30 villa homes managed by Amanpuri.
Room Amenities : 40 private pavilions and 30 Thai villa homes are interspersed throughout a coconut plantation. The resort's pavilions are 115 square meters each, including the private outdoor terrace. Pavilion rates are determined according to view and location. Pavilions 105 and 103 enjoy the best views of the Andaman Sea. 3 Deluxe Ocean pavilions come with sea views, while 4 Superior Ocean pavilions have partial sea views. The 25 Superior Garden pavilions are interspersed among the coconut palms, while the remaining 6 pavilions are set along the resort's internal passageway.
Adjacent to the resort, hidden away among the coconut palms, are 30 privately owned Amanpuri villas, most of them with ocean-front settings. Each villa consists of 2 to 6 separate (Amanpuri-styled) bedrooms finished with Thai furnishings, art and antiques. Villas also enjoy a private pool plus living and dining Thai salas.
