Built in 1909 on the site of the Episcopalian Palace, the Orient-Express-Hotel de la Cité has recently undergone a major renovation to restore it to its former glory. It remains today a favorite hideaway for Europe's elite. The hotel's ground floor is listed by the French National Conservation Trust.
