Built in 1870 as the private residence of the Count of Valença, the Hotel Lapa Palace is right on the city centre, set on a hill overlooking Lisbon’s Tagus River, amid tranquil gardens dotted with ornamental fountains and streams.

Guestrooms & Suites : Hotel Lapa Palace offers 109 guest rooms: 8 Palce Deluxe Rooms, 10 Palace Rooms, additional 71 rooms at the Garen Wing and Vila Lapa and as suites the Suite Count of Valenças, the Tower Room, 3 Deluxe Suites, 5 Suites and 10 Junior Suites. All rooms and suites are fully equipped, many with magnificent views over the River Tagus and Lisbon, or over the lush hotel gardens and pool area.

At the main building, the Palace Wing, each guest room is unique, with its own individual Portuguese style, from 18th-century classical to art deco.

• The Palace Rooms of the original Palace built in 1870, have all been recently decorated, with Portuguese furniture made in the North of Portugal, in Paços de Ferreira, where excellent craftsmen have recreated the furniture in the styles D. João V, D. Maria I and D. José.
  All rooms have Juliet balconies with a view over the city of Lisbon and the River Tagus or the garden. All located on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors of the Palace.
• All ten Deluxe Rooms are located in the Palace Wing on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors. Some have huge terraces with magnificent views of the garden or the Tagus River.
  All are offering marble bathrooms with separate shower and most have a Jacuzzi.
  A special VIP welcome and in-house video awaits the Deluxe Room guest.
• The Junior Suites of the original Palace built in 1870, have been recently all redecorated, with Portuguese furniture made in the North of Portugal, in Paços de Ferreira, where excellent craftsmen have recreated the furniture in the styles D. João V, D. Maria I and D. José.
  All of them have Juliet balconies with a view over the city of Lisbon and the River Tagus or the garden. Located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Palace, with separate living rooms. Large marble bathrooms with double sink and separate shower on request.
• Located in the original Palace, built in 1870 on the 7th floor - the top floor - with its own private tower and a large terrace you´ll find The Tower Room offering the most breathtaking view over Lisbon and River Tagus.
  Portuguese style decoration with hand painted tiles 'azulejos' and wooden floor. Large King bedded room with sitting area. Large marble and Portuguese tile bathroom with double sink, separate shower and hydro massage.
• The Suite Count of Valenças is located on the 5th floor of the Palace, the noble floor. The Suite has been carefully redecorated with lamps, mirrors and furniture recovered from the original Palace´s furniture from the 19th century.
  The gold leaves of the walls of the Suite Count of Valenças have been restored as well as two big mirrors, placed in the living room.
  

Lapa Palace´s Garden Wing is the newest wing of the hotel, overlooking the garden and in perfect harmony with the existing wing, is equipped with the latest equipment to suit today's discerning

• The Garden View Rooms are located in the Garden wing on the first floor, all with balcony overlooking the garden. Handicapped rooms are available on request.
  Large marble bathrooms with double sink, and separate shower on request.
• The Pool & Garden View Rooms are located in the Garden wing on the 2nd and 3rd floors, all with balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Once again, King, Queen or Twin beds as well as connecting rooms are available on request.

• The City, River & Garden View Rooms are located on the 4th, 5th and 6th floor, all with balcony. Rooms located in the Garden wing enjoying down town Lisbon, Tagus River, pool and garden views.
  King, Queen or Twin beds, connecting rooms in both wings available on request and also a handicapped accessible room is available in the garden wing.

• Located on the upper floors of the Garden wing, you´ll find the Junior Suites both with balcony and beautiful views over the river and garden.
• The Garden Wing Suites are located between the 2nd and 4th floors of the Garden Wing, they all are offering balconies and magnificent views of the garden, pool and/or river & city.
  All have separate living rooms with king, queen or twin bedrooms. On request suites can be connecting to either city/river/pool rooms.
  Large marble bathrooms with double sink, separate shower, 1 suite with 2 bathrooms and separate closet. Some available with Hydro massage.
• Located in the Garden Wing on either the 1st or the 5th floor, the Deluxe Suites boast beautiful views of the gardens and pool, and/or the river & city.
  Hotel Lapa Palace´s deluxe suites have a separate large living room and large balconies and beautifully appointed king or twin bedrooms.

The Villa Lapa includes its own exclusive private garden.

• The Villa Rooms : The exclusivity of Hotel Lapa Palace´s Villa will allow you to have your own private garden on the 4th floor. King, Queen or Twin beds, connecting rooms in both wings available on request.

Cuisine & Cocktails : The gastronomic Ristorante Hotel Cipriani offers fine Venetian cuisine inspired by our sister hotel, served in an ambiance of elegance and charm. During the warmer month theair terrace of »Ristorante Hotel Cipriani« is the perfect place to meet for a relaxed dinner surrounded by the beautiful gardens of the Lapa Palace.
The Rio Tejo Bar is the perfect place for a light lunch, or mid afternoon snack in the beautiful bar, or on its sunny terrace overlooking the gardens.
