The Hotel Pulitzer consists of restored 17th and 18th century canal houses that have been harmoniously integrated to create this truly unique hotel in the scenic centre of Amsterdam.
The exquisite canal houses overlook the picturesque Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals, conveniently situated near the old city centre of Amsterdam. Recently named to Condé Nast Traveler's 2002 Gold List, the Hotel Pulitzer is unlike any other hotel in the world, featuring 230 distinctive guest rooms, all designed with charming wooden beams.
Accommodation Feartures :
The architecture of the varried guest rooms makes Sheraton Hotel Pulitzer an unique and charming place to stay with 230 guestrooms and suites on 5 floors. All of them are uniquely and individually decorated and offer all modern comforts as individual climate controle, cable/sat-TV, dataport, two line telephones, mini bar, safebox, luxurious bathrooms with tub and/or shower. Spacious suites adorned with luxurious linens and beautiful furnishings are of course also available.
Kindly note: Due to the fact this property is composed by 25 different antique buildings the hotel also has a lot of differences in floorlevels and no interconnecting rooms and no handicapped rooms which unfortunately makes the Hotel Pulitzer "not accessible for disabled."
Dining :
Pulitzer's Restaurant welcomes you in a beautiful, light and stylish
setting. The Pulitzer's culinary concept is based on
classic formulas and natural ingredients. The chef
and his team prepare their art in the show kitchen
in the middle of the restaurant so the guest has
the opportunity to have a look into the kitchen while enjoying gourmet International cuisine i in a trendy casual setting. And in summertime guests may escape from the hectic city
and relax in the quiet gardens.
After having a delicious gourmet dinner guests may enjoy a drink at Pulitzer's Bar, a cigar lounge. This bar has a cosy atmosphere for pre
and after dinner drinks - including special
whiskeys - excellent wines and cocktails. It has
two private rooms - the red room and the cigar room
- which are available also for private parties.
Sports and Wellness :
There is nearby The Health and Sport Centre Splash.
The Hotel Pulitzer has its own boat
for cruises. It is situated in front of the hotel
and is called The Tourist. It departs daily at
1700 hrs, and on sundays departs at 1100 and 1700
hrs. The duration of the cruise is 75 minutes and it carries up
to 12 people. Bookings can be made with the
concierge. This boat can also be rent
out for private function.

Hotel Pulitzer´s Conference Room is the perfect setting for your next corporate affair.
There are 8 meeting rooms for up to 160 guests. All rooms are equipped with audio visual equipment and video conferencing services.
