Dies Haus, welches ziemlich genau zwischen Nizza und Portofino mit ihren Flughäfen (jeweils etwa 80km) an der italienischen Riviera liegt, ist umgeben von Weingärten, Olivenbäumen, großen Wiesen, Plantagen und Obstgärten. In der umgebenden Region finden Sie keine besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie bekannte Berge, Seen oder Flüsse, aber eine Landschaft voller Ruhe und heiterer Gelassenheit. Wenn Sie den rustikaleren Stil in Verbindung mit allem modernem Komfort mögen, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig.
Zimmerbeschreibungen:Die 14 Gästezimmer und 16 Suiten- sind alle heiter eingerichtet in zeitgenössischem Stil mit vereinzelten Antiquitäten, einiger Suiten verfügen über zwei Badezimmer und fast alle Gästezimmer haben einen eigenen Balkon oder eine eigene Terrasse. Die Badezimmer sind ausgestattet mit pastellfarbenen Fliesen in Erdtönen, die wirklich nur in Italien entworfen werden konnten.

Gastronomie: Feinschmecker werden begeistert sein vom Restaurant "Il Rosmarino", in welchem feinste Meeresfrüchte, verfeinert mit dem Aroma der pflückfrischen Gartenkräuter, begleitet werden von besten Jahrgängen. Der Küchenchef liefert eine exquisite regionale Küche. Auch wenn wir hier in Norditalien sind, basiert die Küche doch auf Olivenöl, einer Vielzahl an frischen Gemüsen und natürlich an Meeresspezialitäten von der wenige 100m entfernten Küste. Butter, Sahne, übertriebene oder saison- und regionsfremde Zutaten werden Sie hier nicht finden, aber eine bodenständige und köstliche Küche vom Land, die geradezu vor Geschmack birst. Die kleine Hotelbar liegt direkt neben dem Eingang zum Restaurant (elegantere Kleidung erwünscht), aber selbstverständlich können Sie Ihren Cocktail auch in der großen Lounge zu sich nehmen, welche in mehrere abgetrente Sitzgruppen unterteilt ist. Im Sommer werden leichte gerichte auch an der Poolbar serviert. Für den Lunch steht darüberhinaus auch das Restaurant im Golf-Clubhaus zur Verfügung.
Sport und Wellness: Hier finden Sie den Garlenda Golf Club, welcher Golfbegeisterte aus aller Welt anzieht. Der große Swimmingpool in den Gärten ist geformt wie ein großer Teich unter einem Wasserfall und hat eine Whirlpoolecke, das Hotel bietet außerdem eine Sauna und Fahrradverleih. Tennisplätze und -hallen finden Sie im nahegelegenen Garlenda Tennisclub ebenso wie die Möglichkeit zu Reiten im Country Club Le Giare. Aeroclub nahebei, alle Wassersportarten am Strand des benachbarten Alassio.

Located at the Italian Riviera between Nice (80kms) and Genoa (also 80kms) and their airports the hotel's surroundings are beautiful with its vineyards, olive trees, acres of grass and plantings and fruit groves. In this region there are no especially high-lights like famous mountains, rivers or lakes but the scenery is calm and radiates a certain serenity. If you like the rustic style combined with all modern comforts you are in the right place here.
Accommodation features:The 14 guestrooms and 16 suites are cheerfully decorated in contemporary style with some antiques, some suites have two bathrooms and almost all guestrooms have either a terrace or a balcony. The bathrooms are finished in pale earthtone rustic tiles that could only be designed in Italy.

Dining: Gourmets will be enchanted by the «Il Rosmarino» Restaurant where the finest seafood, infused with the delicate aroma of garden herbs, is enhanced by exceptional vintages. The chef is offering superb cuisine of the region. Although northern Italian, the traditional food of this area has been based on olive oil, lots of fresh vegetables and sea food of all types. There is no butter or cream or expensive and rare ingredients. It is simple and native but delicious country food, bursting with taste. The small hotel bar flanks the entrance of the formal dining room but of course you can have your after dinner drink also at the huge lounge which is diveded with intimate nooks for privacy. In summer the hotel serves light lunches alongside the pool weather permitting. One more restaurant at the Golf Club Housealso for lunch.
Sports and Wellness: Here you'll find Garlenda Golf Club which attracts golfing enthusiasts from around the world. The large pool in the gardens is designed to evoke the feeling of a natural swimming hole under a waterfall with a relaxing jacuzzi set into one side, La Meridiana also provides a sauna and bicycles. Tennis -both inside and outside- is available nearby at the Garlenda Tennis Club; horeseback riding at nearby Country Club Le Giare and all watersports at the famous beach of Alassio.
