Room amenities :
There are 76 guestrooms: 41 at the Residence, 26 junior suites at the villa and 2 Grand Suites and 2 Corner Suites. All of them feature direct dial telephone (ISDN), satellite & Cable TV, in-House Movie, in-room safe, private stock-bar and guestrooms are air-conditioned.
Two spacious Corner Suites of 750 sq. feet each, with splendid decor and furnishing in the compemporary spirit, terrace or patio.
Two elegantly appointed Grand Suites of 1350 sq. feet each include living and dining area, a large bath room with separated shower which can be turned also in a steambath and a terrace with lakeview.
Accommodations at the Villa are large Junior Suites of over 650 sq. feet each, either on lake or garden side and at the Residence there are 41 very spacious rooms with over 450 sq. feet each, they all have been renovated and include a comfortable living area, bath and vanity space, terrace or patio.
Dining : Restaurant "Principe Leopoldo" catches the eyes with its elegant and exclusive interior; Dario Ranza, the Chef de Cuisine, creates an authenthic cuisine full of savour; not to forgive his memorable “risotto”.
The Gazebos are the natural extension of the Principe Leopoldo restaurant with view on the panorama terrace and the lake; serving dinner al fresco.
Restaurant "Limonaia" is a more informal restaurant to enjoy a full buffet breakfast or light snacks and delightful dishes at lunch time.
Café "Leopoldo" -which is located in the Residence- is the ideal place for quick and informal meals in a casual atmosphere and serves regional and Italian cuisine.
At the Bar “Principe” Mario, the head barman, will be on hand to welcome his guests and serve them their favourite drink in a warm atmosphere with a musical entertainment every evening; there you can also get al-fresco cocktails on its panoramic terrace. The Villa Principe Leopoldo & Residence is also a memorable place for banquets, weddings and cocktail gatherings in a refined atmosphere. Meals tailored to requirements are prepared by the Chef of the Principe Leopoldo restaurant.
Sports and Wellness : The complex features 2 heated outdoor swimming-pools, sauna, solarium, whirlpool, fitness room with a range of cardio-vascular equipment, 2 tennis courts, massage on request and for sports enthusiasts, a whole range of possibilities from horseback riding to water-skiing. Golf is the major attraction of the region, with no less than 43 golf courses in the triangle formed by Lugano-Milan-Bergamo and the hotel has arranged special playing arrangements with 5 beautiful golfs located in our neighbouring Italy (Carimate, Monticello, Varese, Golf dei Laghi, Le Robinie), 30 to 45 minutes away.
Principe Leopoldo is associated with the newly created Beauty Farm “Les Arcades” and the most prestigious Italian company “Jean Klébert” for skin care and make-up cosmetic products and treatments.
