The San Domenico Palace Hotel is a former 15th-century monastery and since the 19th century one of Italy's most beautiful hotels. Historical patrons, kings and presidents found inspiration in the hotel's luxuriant gardens, where fragrant orange blossom, rose and jasmin bloom in striking contrast against the snow-capped backdrop of Mount Etna. Today, the fabulous monastic architecture, tranquil atmosphere and unsurpassed hospitality continue to attract the most discerning clientele. The cloisters and corridors are decorated with original paintings of the 17th and 18th century. The hotel is centrally located in the city of Taormina, and the beach is five kilometres from the hotel with own shuttle bus service.

Accommodation features: The 108 gracious guestrooms, including 8 suites and 6 junior suites are located in two different wings of the San Domenico Palace Hotel: the 14th century Convent and the Grand Hotel, a construction in neoclassic style, added to the hotel on 1896.
